Commercial and marketing support in Brazil — with a clearly defined scope

Understand what each service delivers, how the work is structured and which options best fit your objectives in Brazil. Every service includes clear deliverables, working limits and commercial conditions.

01

Market Entry & Commercial Growth

For companies deciding whether Brazil is worth a structured commitment, or already selling here and needing senior local commercial capacity without immediately expanding permanent headcount.

Included

  • Commercial diagnosis of your current position in Brazil: who already sells your category, at what price level, through which channels.
  • Channel mapping — distributors, importers, retailers and key accounts relevant to your product, with a reasoned shortlist rather than a scraped list.
  • First approach and meeting support: contacting the shortlisted companies, presenting your proposition, and taking part in the meetings.
  • Negotiation support: preparing arguments, anticipating objections, and being present in commercial discussions in Portuguese or English.
  • Distributor and key-account development over a defined period, with agreed contact frequency.
  • Written report at the end of each agreed cycle: what was done, what was learned, what to do next.

Not included

  • Company formation, subsidiary registration, tax or accounting services in Brazil.
  • Customs clearance, import licensing, product homologation, INMETRO or ANATEL certification.
  • Legal advice or contract drafting — I work with the client’s own lawyers.
  • Any guarantee of sales volume, distributor signature or market share.
  • Warehousing, logistics operation, invoicing or receiving payment on your behalf.
Typical duration
Diagnosis and mapping: 2–4 weeks. Development work: monthly, ongoing.
You receive
Channel map with a reasoned shortlist, meeting records, and a written report per cycle.
Reference price
from US$1,250 — per month for the essential retainer; project sprints quoted separately.
02

Trade Show Sales Support

For exhibitors who need prepared, senior commercial representation at the stand, supported by product training, qualification criteria and a clear follow-up process.

Included

  • Pre-event product briefing and training: your product line, positioning, key selling points and likely objections, studied before the event.
  • An agreed qualification standard, so a real opportunity is distinguished from a visitor collecting samples.
  • Commercial conversations at the stand in Portuguese and English, including demonstrations and objection handling.
  • Structured notes on every relevant contact: company, role, interest, next step.
  • A short debrief at the end of each event day.
  • An executive report after the event, within the agreed timeframe.

Not included

  • Mandarin interpretation. Portuguese is native, English is fluent, Spanish is intermediate — Mandarin is not offered, in any form.
  • Booth design, construction, assembly, decoration or logistics of exhibition materials.
  • Event registration, stand rental, exhibitor fees or freight of samples.
  • Travel, accommodation and daily expenses, which are the client’s and are covered below.
  • Any commitment on the number of leads or contracts generated.
Typical duration
Preparation up to 4h; on-site day of up to 8h; report after the event.
You receive
Qualified contact records, daily debriefs, and one executive report.
Reference price
from US$360 — preparation is quoted separately at US$350; the full on-site day is US$590.
03

Marketing Localization & Social Media

For companies whose global material is technically correct in Portuguese but does not sound like it was written for a Brazilian buyer.

Included

  • Diagnosis of current communication: what your material says today to a Brazilian reader, and where it works against you.
  • Adaptation of messages, product descriptions and commercial content into Brazilian Portuguese — cultural and commercial adaptation, not literal translation.
  • Localization of profile and channel copy so the account reads as local.
  • Monthly management of one agreed social media channel: content calendar, copy in Portuguese, up to 8 static posts, and a monthly report.

Not included

  • Paid media budget, ad account management, or any spend on your behalf.
  • Video production, photography, illustration or graphic design from scratch.
  • Website development or e-commerce operation.
  • Community management outside agreed hours, or crisis response at any hour.
  • Any promise of reach, follower growth, engagement rate or search ranking.
Typical duration
Localization: from 4 hours. Social media: monthly cycle.
You receive
Adapted copy files, content calendar, published posts on the agreed channel, monthly report.
Reference price
from US$340 — localization is US$85/h with a 4-hour minimum; monthly channel management is US$690.
04

Travel & Executive Support

For executives travelling to Brazil who need a local professional beside them — and for Brazilian clients travelling to China.

Included

  • Accompaniment to meetings, customer visits, trade shows and domestic business travel within Brazil.
  • Commercial and cultural context before and during each meeting: who you are meeting, how the conversation is likely to run, what is expected.
  • Communication support in Portuguese and English throughout.
  • Practical local support: itinerary sanity-checking, timing, local logistics coordination.
  • Route and area planning informed by long-term familiarity with São Paulo and repeated business travel to Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Belo Horizonte, Florianópolis and Fortaleza, without replacing professional security services.
  • Dining recommendations for Chinese preferences and Brazilian regional food, aligned with the schedule and business context.
  • Support for Brazilian clients travelling to China, drawing on repeated first-hand travel there.

Not included

  • Licensed tour guiding, tourism services or any activity requiring a tour guide licence.
  • Visa applications, immigration advice or consular processes.
  • Interpretation between Mandarin and Portuguese or English.
  • Payment of your travel, accommodation, transport or meals.
  • Driving the client, or responsibility for personal security.
Typical duration
Per day, agreed in advance.
You receive

Reference price
from US$600 — per day within Brazil; international destinations quoted on request.
